Presentation & Template Systems - Scaling Design Across Teams

A key part of building brand consistency involves developing a robust, company-wide presentation design system. I created a cohesive, scalable set of templates that empowered teams across the business to deliver high-quality internal reports, external pitches, and enterprise decks - all aligned to the brand’s visual identity. This project marks a shift from ad hoc slides to a unified, strategic approach to storytelling.
01. Project introduction
Before the system is introduced, teams often create presentations using inconsistent layouts, colours, and styles - weakening the impact of the messaging. Like many B2B companies, my clients needed a solution that could flex across multiple teams and use cases, while maintaining a strong, recognisable brand identity. The same applied to brand guidelines across other clients I worked with - where consistency and scalability are often overlooked, but critical to business success.
02. The problem
03. My solution
I built a comprehensive slide system that included introduction slides, dividers, timelines, infographics, charts, and more - all designed with clarity and consistency in mind. Using the brand’s core elements (color palette, type system, patterns, and shapes), I crafted templates that were not only visually striking, but intuitive and easy to use.
For high-profile or bespoke presentations, I would customise layouts further - adapting slides to specific stakeholder needs or industries.
04. Tools & backstory
The work involved both strategic thinking and hands-on design. I used Figma to create and document layout rules, while working in PowerPoint and Google Slides for final deliverables. Collaboration with content writers, sales teams, and brand stakeholders ensured each template was grounded in real-world use. I’ve repeated this process across multiple clients in the B2B space - from tech startups to enterprise-level companies - each time tailoring the structure to their workflows and user skill levels.

05. Outcomes
These presentation systems are now widely used across the companies - from internal all-hands meetings to enterprise sales pitches - increasing both efficiency and brand professionalism. Teams can now focus on content without reinventing the design every time. Across other projects, the templates I’ve built have helped brands maintain a consistent visual voice long after launch, strengthening their credibility and making it easier for non-designers to stay on-brand.
